Alloy 925 / Incoloy 925 / N09925
Alloy 925 has a complex structural composition, based on nickel with iron and
chromium, and with the introduction of a certain percentage of copper, aluminum,
molybdenum, titanium as alloying additives.
Some change in the percentage of additives determines the scope of this alloy.
Since Incoloy 925 is especially resistant to corrosive formations in acidic and
alkaline environments, it is in demand in the operation of products in the oil
and gas industry - for the production of fasteners, downhole devices, valves,
pipeline products, fittings, pumping elements for work in the marine
environment.
Various products are produced from this alloy according to ASTM standards:
B163 - seamless tubes for condensers and heat exchangers;
B366 - Forged fittings;
B423 - seamless pipes;
B424 - plates, sheets, strips;
B425 - rods, strips;
B564 - forgings;
B704, B705 - welded pipes;
B751, B775 - welded pipes;
B924 - Seamless welded tubes for heat exchangers and condensers with integrated
fins.
