Nimonic 263

Nimonic alloy 263 (GH4163) is an age-hardenable nickel - cobalt - chromium - molybdenum alloy designed to have excellent manufacturing properties in the annealed condition, but also very good aging strength properties. Alloy 263 is easier to form or weld than other materials such as Waspaloy or Rene 41, and exhibits excellent intermediate temperature ductility. Alloy 263 is supplied in the annealed condition and has excellent ductility under these conditions, making it suitable for cold forming and hot working.

Applications. 1, the alloy is prone to internal cracking during forging, promising heavy hammer blows. Ingot loading temperature is not higher than 700℃, low temperature area is preheated first for 20-30 minutes, final heating temperature is 1150℃-1180℃, opening forging temperature is not lower than 1050℃, final forging temperature is not lower than 950℃. 2、The average size of grain size of this alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation and final forging temperature of forgings. Nimonic 263 alloy is mainly used in the production of turbine rings, sheaths and a wide variety of thin plates. Pressure vessels, high-pressure storage tanks, high-pressure piping, heat exchangers (chemical processing industry). Oil and gas pipelines, heat exchanger fittings. Wastewater treatment systems. Pulp and paper industry classifiers, bleaching equipment, storage and treatment systems. High strength and corrosion resistant environment of rotary shafts, press rolls, blades, impellers, etc. Cargo boxes for ships or trucks
