NS334

NS334 is a tungsten-containing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with very low silicon and carbon content. NS334 is characterized by. ● Excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidizing and reducing states. ● Excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.

NS334 physical properties. Density: ρ=8.9g/cm3 Melting temperature range: 1325~1370℃ NS334 processing and heat treatment. 1. NS334 alloy can be manufactured and processed by conventional production process. 2. The workpiece should always be kept clean and free of contamination before and during the heat treatment process. 3. Full consideration should be given to the sensitivity of the alloy to sensitization during rapid cooling between 1000°C and 600°C. 4. In the heat treatment process can not contact with sulfur, phosphorus, lead and other low melting point metals, otherwise it will damage the performance of the alloy, care should be taken to remove such as marker paint, temperature indicator paint, colored crayons, lubricants, fuel and other contaminants. 5. The lower the sulfur content in the fuel, the better, the sulfur content in natural gas should be less than 0.1%, and the sulfur content in heavy oil should be less than 0.5%. 6. The furnace gas of the heating furnace should be neutral to slightly oxidizing, and should avoid the fluctuation between oxidizing and reducing gas, and the heating flame should not burn directly to the workpiece. Application fields of NS334. It is used in a wide range of applications in the chemical and petrochemical fields, e.g. in components and catalytic systems in contact with organic substances containing chlorides. This material is particularly suitable for use in high temperature, inorganic and organic acids mixed with impurities (e.g. formic and acetic acid), and in corrosive environments in seawater.
