NS323

NS323 alloy is a new member of the nickel-molybdenum alloy family, and it has excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at any temperature and concentration. It also has outstanding corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid, acetic acid, anthranilic acid, phosphoric acid and other non-oxidizing media. Due to the adjustment of its chemical composition, its thermal stability has improved dramatically compared to the original B-2 alloy. NS323 alloy has high resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion, knife edge corrosion and corrosion in the heat affected zone of welding. NS323 similar types Hastelloy B-3, UNS N10675, W.Nr.2.4600, NS3203

NS323 properties: Excellent plasticity when exposed to medium temperatures; excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking; excellent resistance to knife edge corrosion and heat affected zone corrosion; excellent resistance to acetic acid, acetic acid, phosphoric acid and other non-oxidizing acids; excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid corrosion at various concentrations and temperatures NS323 use scope scope: NS323 alloy can be used in all applications from the former B-2 alloy. Like B-2 alloy, NS323 is not recommended for use in environments where trivalent iron salts and divalent copper salts are present, as these salts can quickly cause corrosion damage. When hydrochloric acid comes into contact with iron and copper, it will react chemically with them to produce trivalent iron salts and divalent copper salts.
