Inconel X-750

Inconel X-750 alloy is mainly a nickel-based high-temperature alloy that is age-strengthened with γ"[Ni3(Al, Ti, Nb)] phase, which has good corrosion and oxidation resistance below 980°C, high strength below 800°C, good relaxation resistance below 540°C, and also has good forming and welding properties. The alloy is mainly used in the manufacture of aircraft engines working below 800 ℃ and requires high strength relaxation-resistant flat springs and coil springs. Can also be used to manufacture turbine turbine blades and other parts.

X-750 alloy has good low temperature properties. It has good forming properties and is suitable for various welding processes. It has 33% higher tensile strength than Inconel 722 alloy in the range of 650 to 930°C. The alloy can be machined in various states, and its machining resistance is second only to that of ordinary steel, with better machinability in the annealed and solution-treated state. Preparation process of x-750 alloy tubes, especially a rolling method of x-750 alloy precision tubes. The method uses cold rolling with annealing to control the deformation of the tube billet and the deformation gradient of the tube outer diameter (wall thickness) to reduce the uneven deformation and obtain a uniform and suitable organization to obtain qualified precision tubes and to meet the higher requirements of use. The process is: melting, forging, solution heat treatment, machining drilling, repeated cold rolling annealing (usually 3 to 15 times), finished products, which is characterized by: forging temperature of 1100 ℃ ~ 1200 ℃, deformation 35% ~ 80%; solution heat treatment temperature of 950 ℃ ~ 1040 ℃, holding 20 ~ 60 minutes; cold rolling process, each time to control the amount of diameter reduction and wall reduction ratio of 2 to 4. The alloy was developed by adding Mg, Zr, B and other trace alloying elements based on the composition of Inconel X-750 alloy. The results showed that the plasticity of Inconel X-750 alloy in the range of 500-700°C was improved and the notch sensitivity was eliminated under appropriate heat treatment conditions compared with that of Inconel X-750 alloy, which met the technical requirements for turbine fasteners.
