Incoloy901

Incoloy901 is an austenitic age-hardening alloy based on Fe-43Ni-12Cr with the addition of titanium, aluminum and equivalent strengthening elements, and contains trace amounts of boron and low carbon, which is diffusely strengthened by the sub-stable γ"[Ni3(Ti, Al)] phase, and trace amounts of aluminum can inhibit the transformation of γ" to η-Ni3Ti phase.

Incoloy 901 alloy has high yield strength and lasting strength below 650°C, good oxidation resistance below 760°C, and stable organization for long-term use. The alloy is a more mature alloy developed in the early stage and is widely used in the manufacture of rotating disk-shaped parts (turbine disk, compressor disk, journal, etc.), static structural parts, turbine outer ring and fasteners and other parts of aviation and ground gas turbine engines working below 650°C. Incoloy 901 heat treatment 1090℃±10℃, 2~3h, water-cooled or oil-cooled +775℃±5℃, 4h, air-cooled +700~720℃, 24h, air-cooled. Incoloy 901 Application Overview and Special Requirements This alloy is widely used abroad for rotating parts and fasteners working below 650°C on aero engines and ground gas turbines, and has a long service life. It has also been used on aero engines in China and is a proven alloy that has been tested in use. Alloy forging into, if the process parameters are not selected or operated properly, its performance will show obvious directionality and may cause notch sensitivity, but as long as the process is strict, this phenomenon will not occur. The alloy's coefficient of expansion is close to that of ferritic hot-strength alloy steels, allowing the two materials to be joined with no special provisions for hot accounts.
