Incoloy890

Nickel-based alloy Incoloy 890 corrosion resistant alloy Incoloy 804 is a fully austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with the addition of copper and molybdenum. It is a versatile engineering alloy that is resistant to acid and alkali metal corrosion in both oxidizing and reducing environments. The high nickel composition gives the alloy resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Corrosion resistance is excellent in a variety of media such as sulfuric, phosphoric, nitric and organic acids, and alkali metals such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid solutions. The higher overall performance is demonstrated by the diverse corrosive media in the nuclear combustion dissolver, such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid and sodium hydroxide all handled in the same equipment.

incoloy890 alloy properties Resistance to stress corrosion cracking Resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion Excellent oxidation resistance and non-oxidizing thermal acidity Excellent mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperatures up to 950°C Certified to manufacture pressure vessels up to 550°C. incoloy 890 has a wide range of applications in many industries, such as forged pump shafts for chemical pumps, centrifugal pumps, high pressure pumps, piston pumps, slurry pumps, fracturing pumps, for the cement and sugar industries, paper mills. Used in shipbuilding and aviation industries, in power generation and power plants, in oil and gas industries, in concrete mills and mixers, in processing units, machinery and equipment.
