Incoloy330

Incoloy 330 stainless steel is an austenitic heat and corrosion resistant alloy that offers a combination of strength and resistance to carburization, oxidation and thermal shock. This alloy is designed for use in high temperature industrial environments where

INCOLOY 330 is a nickel-iron-chromium austenitic alloy designed to resist oxidation and carburization in high temperature environments. The 34%-37% nickel content gives the material the stress corrosion corrosion resistance of high chloride and the brittleness of Sigma. Material is machined through stainless steel and nickel alloy machining procedures. Widely used in environments where cyclic heating and carburizing effects are combined. Incoloy 330 stainless steel remains fully austenitic at various temperatures and is not subject to embrittlement from stress formation. It has a solid solution composition and is not hardened by heat treatment. The alloy's strength and resistance to yanging at high temperatures make it a useful material for industrial heating furnaces. Incoloy 330 stainless steel offers a high level of corrosion resistance, especially when it comes to oxidation, carburizing and nitriding. In aqueous environments, the alloy's chromium content provides resistance to yanging conditions, while its nickel content imparts resistance to reduction. The nickel content gives a reduction resistance condition. The high nickel also gives Incoloy 330 good resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking.
