Incoloy028

Incoloy 028 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with added molybdenum and copper. It has excellent resistance to reducing or oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion produced by the service environment, such as pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy is particularly resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acid corrosion. It is used in chemical processing, pollution control equipment, oil and gas well piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production and pickling equipment.

Inconel chromium stainless steel has good resistance to sulfuric acid chemicals and good resistance to environmental corrosion such as chloride, phosphoric acid and nitric acid. It has good mechanical properties and workability.
