Incoloy A-286

It has high yield strength and lasting, creep strength below 650℃, and has good processing plasticity and satisfactory welding performance. It is suitable for the manufacture of high-temperature load-bearing parts of aero-engines that work for long periods of time below 650°C, such as turbine disks, press disks, rotor blades and fasteners. The alloy can be produced in various shapes of deformed products, such as discs, forgings, plates, bars, wires and rings. IncoloyalloyA-286 (UNS S66286; W.Nr.1.4980) is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy with the addition of molybdenum and titanium. It has high mechanical properties for ageability. The alloy maintains good strength and resistance to yanging at temperatures up to about 1300°F (700°C). The alloy is austenitic under all metallurgical conditions. the degree and excellent manufacturing properties of Incoloy alloy A-286 allow the alloy to be used in a variety of components for and industrial gas turbines. It is also used in fastening applications for automotive engines and manifold components subject to high levels of hot water and stress, as well as in the offshore oil and gas industry.
