Haynes HR-120

Alloy HAYNES HR-120 (UNS N08120) is a solid solution-reinforced heat-resistant alloy with excellent strength at high temperatures and very good resistance to carburizing and sulfiding environments. Its oxidation resistance is comparable to that of other widely used Fe-Ni-Cr materials such as alloy 330 and 800H, but its strength at temperatures up to 2000ºF (1095ºC) is significantly higher, even when compared to Ni-Cr alloys. The alloy is easy to hot or cold form and is typically welded with HAYNES 556 filler wire

Haynes 120 high temperature alloys are shipped from the factory after solution annealing treatment and can also be aged. Depending on the finished shape of the material, the solution annealing temperatures for this alloy range from 1175°C to 1230°C, with rapid cooling after heating.
