GH4163 high temperature alloy

GH163 is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-based plate alloy with aluminum and titanium elements age-strengthened. GH4163 alloy is an age-hardened nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy. It is designed to combine excellent age-hardening strength properties with excellent fabrication properties in the annealed condition. Although it does not have the high temperature strength of WASPALOY or R-41, it is easier to form or weld than these alloys. 2.4650 alloy exhibits excellent medium temperature ductility and is generally unaffected by the cracking problems that commonly vary in alloys. This alloy is a candidate material for advanced supercritical units. It has tissue stability. It is an age-strengthened cobalt-nickel based deformed high temperature alloy. It contains high cobalt and various strengthening elements. Tensile strength and creep resistance, good oxidation and corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength and good formability and weldability under repeated hot and cold action. Used in turbine engine turbine discs, blades, high temperature fasteners, snap holes, sealing rings and elastic elements. GH4163 alloy is a nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy with the addition of solid solution strengthening material and molybdenum. GH4163 alloy not only has high strength and corrosion resistance, but also shows good formability and high temperature ductility in welded structures. Application areas. The alloy is prone to internal cracking during forging and heavy hammering is allowed. The ingot furnace temperature is not higher than 700°C, the low temperature zone is preheated first for 20-30 minutes, the temperature of heating temperature is 1150°C-1180°C, the forging temperature is not lower than 1050°C, and the final forging temperature is not lower than 950°C.2 . The average size of the alloy is closely related to the deformation of the forging part and the final forging temperature.
