1J79 soft magnetic alloy

1J79 alloy is a high initial magnetic permeability alloy, second only to silicon steel sheet and electrical pure iron in terms of usage. Compared with other soft magnetic alloys, these alloys have high permeability and low coercivity at low magnetic fields, and some alloys have special applications with rectangular hysteresis lines, or very low residual magnetic induction and constant permeability.

The 1J79 alloy has good rust resistance and processing properties, and can be used to make components of extremely fine shape and size. Since the resistivity of this type of alloy is higher than that of pure iron and silicon steel sheet and is easily processed into thin strips, thin strips of a few microns or less are suitable for high frequencies of a few megahertz or less.
